New City Research
New City Research is a forum created by Jan van Schaik which speculates on new ways that the planning, architecture, construction, financial and creative industries inform the complex relationships between the economic, social, political, physical and cultural components of cities.
New City Research hosts discussions with energy entrepreneurs, architects, cultural commentators, demographers, sociologists, statisticians, urban designers, economists, developers, creative practitioners, agricultural scientists and local indigenous communities, and will seek input from new and existing city constituents to inform speculative typological designs for cities.
